Andrea has been living in China since 2014 and joined the Firm in 2017. He is Coordinator of the Healthcare Department at Zunarelli Group – Health Law Asia, and Managing Partner of Health Law Asia.

He earned his LL.M. in Law from the Catholic University of Milan in 2001 and was admitted to the Milan Bar Association in 2004. From the very beginning of his career he has specialized in healthcare law, advising National Health Service institutions, private hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers and global cosmetics brands.

His expertise focuses on competition and administrative law, market access, and international trade of regulated healthcare products, as well as international cooperation in the healthcare sector. He represents Italian healthcare institutions in cooperation projects with Chinese government bodies and hospitals.

Andrea is a member of the editorial committee of the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Law Journal and of the Healthcare Working Group of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce. He previously served as Assistant Professor of Administrative Law at the Catholic University of Milan.

Luigi has lived and worked in Shanghai since 2008 and currently serves as Managing Partner of Health Law Asia and Head of the Zunarelli Shanghai Office.

He graduated LL.M. in Law from the University of Bologna in 2009, following research on commercial distribution conducted at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. He has been a member of the Bologna Bar Association since 2014.

Luigi provides legal and regulatory assistance to foreign enterprises operating in China and to Chinese companies investing abroad. His practice covers company law, international and domestic contracts, commercial law, labour law, tax, and all matters related to foreign direct investment.

He also advises on intellectual property rights protection and represents clients in litigation and arbitration before Chinese and international authorities. He is a consultant for Italian and local business associations and collaborates as an expert on Chinese Law with the Sole 24 Ore Business School.

Sabrina Gao is based in the Shanghai Office, where she has worked since 2010.

She provides legal assistance to foreign enterprises operating in the Chinese market as well as to Chinese companies investing overseas. Her practice focuses on company law, international and domestic commercial contracts, labour law, tax law, and all legal areas related to foreign direct investment.

Sabrina also assists clients in the protection of intellectual property rights and represents them in litigation and arbitration proceedings before Chinese and international judicial or administrative authorities.

She serves as a consultant for major Italian and Chinese business associations, and cooperates with Shanghai University and the China Eastern University of Political Science and Law, contributing her expertise on Italian and European law.

Fabrizio Giunta joined the Firm in 2024 as Marketing and Communication Manager of Health Law Asia. He is a sinologist with a strong academic background in Chinese language and Asian culture.

He obtained his LL.M. from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and continued his studies at Beijing Normal University and later at Shanghai Fudan University.

He is responsible for all marketing and communication activities of the Firm across its digital and institutional channels, and handles public and institutional relations within the healthcare and legal sectors.

Davide Rebeggiani is Public Relations Manager of Health Law Asia, based in the Shanghai Office. His responsibilities encompass regulatory research and interpretation, legal translation and drafting support, and cross-cultural communication, with a focus on China's pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

Working alongside the firm's lawyers, he supports the preparation of legal and regulatory materials and helps communicate developments in China's regulatory framework to an international business audience. He combines attention to language and terminology with experience in public relations and international client communication.

Before joining Zunarelli, Davide worked in multilingual administration and client relations in Rome. He previously held a business development role in a Chinese pharmaceutical company, supporting international communication, commercial relationships and cross-cultural negotiations.

He holds a master's degree in Human Resources from ELIS in Rome.
