Andrea has been living in China since 2014 and joined the Firm in 2017. He is Coordinator of the Healthcare Department at Zunarelli Group – Health Law Asia, and he is Managing Partner of Health Law Asia.
He earned his LL.M. in Law from the Catholic University of Milan in 2001 and was admitted to the Milan Bar Association in 2004. From the very beginning of his professional career, Andrea has specialized in healthcare law, advising National Health Service institutions, private hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and global cosmetics brands.
His expertise focuses on competition and administrative law, market access, and international trade of regulated healthcare products, as well as international cooperation in the healthcare sector.
Andrea provides legal and regulatory advice to Italian and Chinese companies, as well as to public and private institutions engaged in commercial or institutional relationships between the two countries. He also represents Italian healthcare institutions in cooperation projects with Chinese government bodies and hospitals.
Andrea is a member of the editorial committee of the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Law Journal and a member of the Healthcare Working Group of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC).
He has a strong academic background, having published numerous papers and conducted seminars on healthcare law. He previously served as Assistant Professor of Administrative Law at the Catholic University of Milan.

Luigi lived and worked in Shanghai since 2008 and currently serves as Managing Partner of Health Law Asia and Head of Zunarelli Shanghai Office.
He graduated LL.M. in Law from the University of Bologna in 2009, following research on commercial distribution conducted at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. He has been a member of the Bologna Bar Association since 2014.
Luigi provides legal and regulatory assistance to foreign enterprises operating in China and to Chinese companies investing abroad. His practice covers company law, international and domestic contracts, commercial law, labour law, tax, and all matters related to foreign direct investment.
He also advises clients on intellectual property rights protection and represents them in litigation and arbitration proceedings before Chinese and international judicial or administrative authorities.
Luigi acts as a consultant for leading Italian and local business associations (including Unindustria, AICE, China Leather Association, Shanghai Boat Association, etc.) and collaborates as an expert on Chinese Law with the Sole 24 Ore Business School.

Sabrina Gao is an Associate of the Firm, based in the Shanghai Office, where she has worked since 2010.
She provides legal assistance to foreign enterprises operating in the Chinese market as well as to Chinese companies investing overseas.
Her practice focuses on company law, international and domestic commercial contracts, labour law, tax law, and all legal areas related to foreign direct investment.
Sabrina also assists clients in the protection of intellectual property rights and represents them in litigation and arbitration proceedings before Chinese and international judicial or administrative authorities.
She serves as a consultant on her practice areas for major Italian and Chinese business associations, including Unindustria, AICE, China Leather Association, and Shanghai Boat Association.
Sabrina also cooperates with Shanghai University and China Eastern University of Political Science and Law, contributing her expertise on Italian and European law.

Jeff Zhai is an Associate of the Firm, working in the Shanghai Office since 2016.
He provides legal assistance to foreign enterprises operating in the Chinese market, advising clients on company establishment, modification, and cancellation, as well as on tax and other matters related to foreign direct investment.
Jeff’s work focuses on ensuring compliance and efficiency for companies entering or expanding in China, offering practical legal support that aligns with the country’s evolving regulatory framework.

Fabrizio Giunta joined the Firm in 2024 and serves as Marketing and Communication Manager of Health Law Asia.
He is a sinologist with a strong academic background in Chinese language and Asian culture.
Fabrizio obtained his LL.M. from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, and thanks to his deep knowledge of Chinese culture and language, he continued his studies at Beijing Normal University and later at Shanghai Fudan University.
He is responsible for managing all marketing and communication activities of the Firm across its digital and institutional channels.
In addition, Fabrizio handles public and institutional relations, promoting the Firm’s visibility and partnerships within the healthcare and legal sectors.
