The National Healthcare Security Administration (NHSA) has issued a Notice aimed at strengthening policy interpretation and supporting the effective implementation of national guidelines for the establishment of medical service pricing items at the local level.
The Notice calls on local healthcare security authorities to strengthen policy training and explanatory activities for medical institutions, prepare interpretation materials reflecting local implementation arrangements, and improve communication with relevant stakeholders. It also emphasises the importance of addressing questions arising during implementation, engaging industry associations and disseminating practical experience to facilitate a clearer understanding and more consistent application of the pricing guidelines.
For hospitals, healthcare providers and other stakeholders involved in the provision and administration of medical services, the Notice highlights the importance of understanding how national pricing guidelines are interpreted and implemented locally. Rather than establishing new national medical service tariffs, it seeks to improve the clarity, coordination and practical application of the existing policy framework.
